Light barriers

Description

The light signalling is installed on the barrier arms of level crossings with protection type “C” and “E”, along their entire length and with the lamps facing road vehicles. When the barrier is open, the signalling remains switched off and when the barrier begins to close, the system’s position detector activates the lamps, which glow steadily until the barrier returns to its vertical position at the end of its operating cycle.

This signalling is fixed in such a way that it is electrically and mechanically isolated from the activation of the barrier. The system is equipped with an internal battery powered by electromagnetic induction coming from an inductor located in the operating boom.

The lamps form with the barrier arm a closed unit with no cables or vulnerable parts accessible to third persons.
